A Little Bit of Lace - Beginner Lace Course

Not so long ago I was still dreaming about writing a beginner lace course. The whole thing felt a bit daunting but I knew I really wanted to do it at some point.

One day while staring into a room box I had begun for an entirely different purpose, daydreaming about what it could be, inspiration struck. All of a sudden I knew exactly what my lace course would consist of and the patterns for the first few projects were clear in my mind. With ideas flowing, it was time to grab a lace pillow and bobbins and begin experimenting.

Seven months later, the course is complete and the final finishing touches are freshly in place in the room box. Now it's a lacy little scene that houses every last piece of lace in the course - even the beginning samples. I wanted everything to be useful right from the beginning and with a little imagination it is.

If you've ever been curious about the craft of bobbin lace, then this course is for you. Divided into four graded units you'll learn everything you need to know to make the lace in this scene. Whether you want to use lace in your own miniatures or change the size to suit other uses - it's totally up to you.

There is so much to learn when it comes to bobbin lace making so my goal here is to lay a solid foundation that will set you up with confidence for your future lace making.

Ready to come on a little journey with me?
